The children have been waiting patiently (as patiently as 4 and 5 year olds can wait ) for the butterflies to emerge from their chrysalis!! The wait is over!! Our new art teacher came to visit our little butterflies as she helped them flutter through many art activities using different senses. Thanks for a great experience Miss Jamie!! We look forward to many more art experiences with you!

The preschool class has been exploring the life cycle of butterflies from egg to adult. We have made fuzzy caterpillars (larva) beautiful butterflies and charted their life stages. Also, our junior scientist are using their skills of observation to watch real live caterpillars complete their metamorphosis from egg to adult butterfly.
