We had a wonderful visit today from Kasey the Fire & Life Safety Dog to celebrate Fire Prevention Week. Firefighter Karen and Kasey demonstrated the STOP, DROP and ROLL technique. Pre-K students were very busy this week discussing the season of Fall. They loved doing activities this week with beautiful leaves. The students got to practice sorting leaves by color, size, and characteristics (sharp edges or smooth edges).
